Two lovely twins. A drawing I made with pencil and pencil crayon. I wanted there to be a visual softness in this one, so I kept the application of colour quite sketchy and used random circles in place of block tone or pattern. I hope this sense of softness starts to convey their special bond.
I do love a collection; searching, gathering, curating. This is the driver behind most of what I do, creative or otherwise. I suppose I have an obsessive personality in that sense, because surrounding myself with things I like makes me feel a little less lost… sort of soothed by familiarity and repetition.
This blog will be a celebration of my collections, obsessions and gatherings. Just a warning… these tend to include junk shops, felt-tips and triangles.
RicherByDesign is a way of life rooted in creativity, frugality and sustainability. It is a collection of my collections (a meta-collection – ooh!) and a space for me to officially recognise the creativity in my seemingly random potterings.
